Hyland Hills Style Guide

In 2022 I worked with our Communications and Graphics Department on a rebranding project for the Hyland Hills Parks and Recreation District. Our first challenge was to revise our Vision and Mission Statements and develop a core set of values to establish how to bring in colors, fonts and other design elements. We also had to create a set of guidelines when using the logo. This included fonts, alignments, do’s and dont’s, merchandising applications and how to use it when reference the District’s Enterprise Facilities which had their own brand and style.

We surveyed our staff to established our core values and created the mission and vision statements from the survey. Over 6 months, I worked with our Communication and Graphic Design Departments to create the style guide and in February of 2023 we launched the new logo, brand and guide. Grant and Public Outreach Videos

Below are samples of my video work for Hyland Hills Park and Recreation District. The District frequently submits for county grants Adams County to help improve parks and facilities. Below is one for Clear Creek Valley Park, a regional park located in Arvada, Colorado.

The District also produces videos for public outreach through its social media channels, website and YouTube channel. The content is collected throughout the year so I am able to use it for various projects. This sample is from 2023, recapping the activities and programs across the district over the summer.
