2013 Orange County Restaurant Week
During my time in California from 2010-2015, I volunteered my time as an event planner for the Orange County Restaurant Association. Each year I would work with the President of the association to help produce the kick-off event for OC Restaurant Week. The week celebrates the restaurants in the local Orange County California area. Participating restaurants would offer pre-fixed lunch and dinner menus at a discounted price for one week. The association long with its media partners would encourage residents in the area to go out and support local restaurants and staff.
The kick-off party held at the Lexus Dealership in Newport Beach, CA is a event that features about 15 local restaurants and spirits serving small one bite appetizers. The event is three hours long and features live entertainment.

OC Beer and Wine Week Interviews
The Orange County Restaurant Association hosts a Beer and Wine Week annually that is similar to Restaurant Week. Participating restaurants offer discounted pre-fixed menus and pair those menus with select beers and wine over a two-week period.
As a media partner during my time at Playlist 92.7 FM, we would go out and interview the chefs to talk about their menu and feature the videos on our website and YouTube channels. This video is from Anqi Bistro in Costa Mesa and features owner Chef An.
